The Lion King was my favorite Disney movie growing up and it amazing going to the Lion King Pop Up.

Free events are abundant in New York. Please see below for a list of selected free events that are occurring Monday, 8/5/19-Sunday, 8/11/19 in NYC. Please note, times and things may change, so it is best to contact the event organizer for the latest updates. The event organizer can be found in the link in the title. Events may also fill up to capacity.

Pop-ups may occur in multiple dates, and to avoid repetition only a few dates were selected for this post.

Monday, 8/5/19

Anchorman (5pm-11pm)

What: Movie screening of Anchorman. Starring Will Ferrell, directed by Adam McKay and written by Will Ferrell & Adam McKay

Cold Open 5pm-7pm

What: Cold open for a new series about culture/tech on MONDAY 8/5 for around 15-20min between 5pm-7pm in the Nomad area. This is unpaid, but should be fun, quick, and an opportunity to be featured on a cool new show! (The pilot had over 2 million views!)
